¿Cerveza o Coca-Cola?

Hay que ser valiente para pintar una Vespa con los logos de Coca-Cola y Mahou. Personalmente me parece un poco hortera, pero para gustos los colores... Salvo que sean motos publicitarias, que nunca se sabe.

I don't really like Vespas being painted with either Coke or Mahou (Spanish beer) logos. Personally, I think it's tacky. But there's so many tastes for everything, that you never know... Unless they're painted as Ad-bikes.

Message in a bottle

Recordando la canción de The Police vemos un modelo de Vespa de los años 60 atado a una farola... ¡Dentro de una botella! Esto es arte y no el clásico barquito de madera que todos tienen encima de la tele.

Dos enamoradas

Dando un paseo por Flickr, he encontrado con esta preciosa foto de dos Vespas "enamoradas". Eso pensó Justimage cuando las retrató. Fíjate que manera de mirarse. Parecen estar coqueteando. Me imagino a la roja pensando "Qué bien te sienta ese retrovisor, so guapa."

Surfing thru Flickr, I found this beautiful photo of two Vespas "in love". That's what Justimage thought when she pictured them. Just note the way they look at each other. It seems they're flirting. I imagine the red one thinking "How good does that mirror fit on you, pretty!"

Fósil

En homenaje a mi primer vehículo a motor... os presento a la Vespino GL. Mítica donde las haya.
Yo me hice con una de color granate en los años 80. Mis amigos ya tenían modelos nuevos, de los de plástico. Así que apodaron a mi GL con el nombre de FOSIL. Ya que Vespino y Vespa son primos hermanos... he aquí un recuerdo a mi querido Fósil.

In memory of my first motor vehicle... I would like to present the Vespino GL. Mytic motorcycle. I got a maroon one in the 80s. My friends already had the newest plastic models, so they decided to name mine as the FOSIL (fossil). Since vespino and Vespa are very close family... here's my thought for my beloved Fósil.

En Motorfull he encontrado esta maravilla que recuerda a las antiguas diligencias del oeste. Nos lleva la Vespa en lugar de los caballos. En la parte de trasera pondríamos a la mujer del alcalde a la que llevaríamos sana y salva hasta la ciudad, donde iría a comprarse algo de ropa.
Vespacar se fabricó en España en los años 60, muchas de ellas entregadas al servicio de Correos y Telecomunicaciones.

Motorfull shows us this vehicle that reminds me of the Far West diligences. A Vespa moves us instead of some horses. On the back, we can imagine taking the Mayor's wife to the city to buy some clothes.
Vespacar was manufactured in Spain in the 60s, many of them were acquired by Correos y Telecomunicaciones.

Mi buena amiga Señorita Puri me ha contado que en swismiss ha encontrado este recortable tan molón. ¿Te suena? Para los no iniciados, es una forma barata de quitarse el mono vespero.

Piaggio fabricó este diminuto coche en Francia a finales de los 50. Me temo que no duró mucho ni causó grandes sensaciones.

Mi amiga, la Señorita Puri, me envía esta imágen de una Lambretta con un sidecar VW. A pesar de no ser una Vespa, la añadimos aquí pues no deja de ser una obra de arte. Es una verdadera pena que con tanta armonía de colores, el conductor se haya puesto tan horrible casco.

Hoy, un modelo conocido por todos (el de ayer, tal vez, haya gente que no lo conociera). No deja de ser curioso que hayan vuelto a bajar el faro. Digno homenaje a las clásicas.

No sé de qué página las conseguí, pero tenía estas fotos guardadas en mi ordenador. La autora aseguraba haber hecho estas piezas de unas Vespas. Personalmente, lo dudo, pero no dejan de ser curiosas.
